I have for sale this nice arts and crafts period obverse painted lamp. This is a period 1910-1925 lamp and its in very nice overall condition. The Pittsburgh base in nice original patina and has no damage. The base also with original cap and finial a...nd no metalware breaks or chips in the base. The base and shade are original to each other. The shade with nice/warm paint coloration with no paint sickness or losses and a cool art nouveau designs on the outside. The shade is milk glass and as such is purely white on the inside. Some in the making of shade imperfections on the interior of the shade but doesn’t impact the presentation of the lamp at all and i only mention it for accuracy sake and the super picky. The lamp measures 22 inches tall and is 15 inches wide. Just a great arts and crafts lamp from a great maker and from the 1910- 1925 arts and crafts period. TO ALL POTENTIAL BUYERSBidders please remember that I am selling antiques and that there should be a degree of expectation on your part in knowing that there will be normal aging and minor imperfections towards an item that is 75 to 100 years old. Chances are if there aren't any, it's a newer item and you shouldn't want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I really don't want to do a refund because the finial ( typically a 10.00 piece ) isn't perfect on a 2, 000.00 lamp. I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. It seems the more experienced an antique dealer or buyer is, the more understanding of condition they are. That being said, if you think you're going to be a difficult buyer because you want perfection in a 100 year old piece, please purchase another ebay seller's product. ebay has made it very difficult for sellers in the past few years yet I'm a good seller who wants to be fair and all I ask for is a fair buyer to do business with. Thanks for your understanding.
