Taylor 712E Vintage Sunburst Concert 12 Fret S/N 1107074063 New in the box. The Taylor 712e 12-Fret means this guitar is a concert shape and the neck meets the body at the 12th fret. The 12 Fret is a popular and very comfortable guitar. The classic pairing of rosewood and spruce yields a full-range acoustic voice, while the smaller body keeps the overtones in check and fits nicely in a mix with other instruments. A short-scale 24-7/8-inch neck adds comfort to the playing experienc...e. A Vintage Sunburst top and neck give it that old school vibe. The grand concert's smaller size is more comfortable and has that distance tone. Paired with the rosewood back and sides compliments the perfect overall tone. The concert body brightens tone while rosewood a warmer tonal wood brings together amazing full body articulate tone.
Equipped with the Taylor (ES2). (patent pending), which features uniquely positioned and individually calibrated pickup sensors. The location of the sensors enables a more dynamic range of acoustic sound to be captured. Together with the Taylor-designed preamp, this system produces professional tone and responsiveness. Especially through a PA or through your acoustic amplifier.
The ES2 features the same volume and tone control knobs as the original ES system. The preamp is similar but with a slightly different gain structure. As a result it will be about 25-percent hotter, which is more in line with other pickups.
