We offer for your consideration this vintage Anglo Hohner Concertina.
This Concertina has a Hohner label as well as a "Made in Italy" decal on it.I've searched all over this instrument to see if I could find a model number, but I couldn't find one. If you know where the number is hidden please let us know so we can update the listing.
This Concertina has 20 buttons and 1 vent button. All the buttons move freely with no signs of binding or sticking. The bellows feels solid with no ...leaks. The instrument remains silent when expanding and contracting the bellows without pressing any buttons. Each button plays two separate notes on the push and the pull.
The exterior of the instrument looks to be in good condition. The most noticeable issue is the deterioration of the "Hohner" decal. There is very slight clouding of the gloss coat that can be seen around the cutouts above the palm bar, but you have to look closely to see this.
If ever you wanted to learn to play the concertina, this instrument would be a nice entry level instrument to start with.
