Okay Barbie Skipper collectors Heres a Rare One !!! Offered for sale from my personal collection is this Vintage & Extremely Rare 1964 Canadian Issued "Skipper Doves" Doll case in exceptional Condition & issued 55 yrs ago in Canada & ONLY in Canada by Mattel Canada. This Doll case is considered the "Holy Grail" of Barbie Doll Cases for many reasons & easily the Rarest Barbie Skipper Doll case ever issued !!!...Only issued in Canada for the much smaller Canad...ian market & in very very small production #'s. As listed on page 176 of the Collectors Guide to Barbie Doll Vinyl Cases it is noted that this case features the unusual combination of Skipper, Barbie & Allan which do not appear on any other doll case ever issued by Mattel & this is a Crown Jewell in that guide with the highest rateing in Rariety with a guide value of $1000+..Also shown in the Encylopedia of Barbie collectibles on page 376 with the highest rating in Rariety as Extremely Rare & a guide value of $600+. That said this is easily the nicest example i've seen of this Rare case in Top Collecter condition with a small tear on the top but will display very nicely !!! This Rare case was picked up here in Canada from a advanced Barbie collector & NEVER shows up for sale as any known examples are in the collection of Barbie collectors..
