On offer, we have a rectangle serving tray by Ken Edwards El Palomar from Tonala, Mexico. This is the hard to find blue/gray background with green and brown birds and flowers. This measures 14 1/2" X 11 1/4" and 2" deep. The bottom is signed "El Palomar Mexico" with the insect signature of the artist. This weighs 3 pounds 6 ounces. This is circa 1970 when my friend would frequently visit Tonala and the handsome Ken Edwards would give personal tours of his works...hop. More than happy memories, these are part of a large set she is now beginning to part with. The tray is in very good in condition, possibly never used. The glaze has some lines of crazing. It has the expected bumps and bubbles in the glaze, but no chips, cracks or repairs. Please view my photographs for more description.
