An exquisite 1920's, Art Deco, 10K white gold brooch with central round diamond flanked by blue sapphires. This pin displays a fine filigree design with pierced sides and an interesting border that incorporates a shell and swirl motif.
The pin/brooch measures 2 1/8" long by 11/16" (at the widest), and weighs approximately 4 grams.
The central diamond is approximately 1.8mm (.025ct), sparkly, and very white. The faceted diamond shaped sapphires each measure 5mm x 2mm (at widest), ...and have medium to dark blue coloring.
The pin is marked 10K on it's lever style safety catch. It is in great condition.
