This is the quintessential French child of the Victorian Era. She is an early bisque socket head made by Leon Prieur around 1890. She stands 16" with a beautiful presentation. Her bisque is excellent without hairlines, cracks or repairs. She has beautiful blue hand blown glass eyes, hand painted upper and lower lashes and feathered brown brows. Her mouth is almost closed with the four tiny small teeth. She has human hair wig and is on her jointed composition body with&...nbsp; the original finish. Head is marked Mon Cheri L.P. PARIS 7. Costumed with flower sun dress, black socks, leather Shoes and her original straw bonnet. She looks like a typical French child of the early Victorian era. What a happy Child!Condition: Her bisque is great, with high quality modeling and painting of features, without cracks, chips, or restoration. Her left thumb chipped and a little dirty but overall she’s in fantastic condition, and would make a fine addition to any cabinet collection. Smoke free home. No longer accepting bids from Russia.
