This an estate item. We bench tested this at the warehouse and it worked exactly as it should at the time of taking photos. Then after about 5 minutes we got the power adapter error (photo 7 and 8) and it shut down shortly after. The power supply itself seems to have just failed as it is now reading less than 1 volt dc on the voltmeter. We are unsure if the Powerbook batteries are good or not. Basically the buyer will want to repl...ace the power supply and possibly the battery. Therefore we are selling this as is under parts/repair. Floppy disk drive works flawless! Mouse wheel is bit touchy, and hung up a couple times but worked fine with a bit more pressure. Screen is in excellent condition! 1 door is missing on the back. The plain all black disk boots the OS! This unit is in VERY nice cosmetic condition! Please see all photos for cosmetics!
Included with sale-Carrying case/bag-Powerbook 170 -Power supply (needs replaced)-Modem card (untested)-System disks + other software-2 Batteries (may or may not need replaced) -Lots of manuals and paperwork
