This was a well made holster that has been well used. The Colt Single Action 4 3/4” fits nicely. The makers mark is worn and difficult to make out but reads “THE F. RONSTADT CO. / MAKERS / TUCSON, ARIZ” . A nice gentleman from the Tucson are was kind enough to let me know when he realized that he is familiar with the maker. There is a lot of history available on the internet about the history of the company. The family is also ancestors of the famous singer Linda Ronstadt. The ho...lster when new was fully lined, all of the lining is missing. Someone added a strap at the bottom for a tie down. They also added a thong for the hammer. The loop is firmly attached. This was an expensive holster at one time that has seen a lot of action.
