I am selling a set of 3 silver plated dinner forks which were produced by Frank Cobb & Co of Sheffield in the early part of the 20th century.
The forks which have an Old English pattern are in good condition for their age with minor scuffing but no wear to the silver plate.
They each measure approx 7.5” (19cm) in length and weigh approx 52g. The forks are stamped on the back of the handle ‘FC & Co EP’.
Frank Cobb & Co were active in Sheffield between 1905 and 1940 but ...ceased producing Electro Plate in 1911 so I believe these forks to have been produced before that date.
