1920s hand made Chinese Art-Deco organic dyed wool room-sized rug. Yellow/Gold border on Rose field with beautiful intricate floral patterns. The pictorial elements include blossoms and exotic flowers which are incredibly bright and vivid. Designed by Walter Nichols, this fine example is an excellent example of the bright, colorful and bold aesthetic of these rugs. These rugs are made with fine quality wool and silk and this one has a thick, soft, luxurious feel.
