HERE IS A FINE LOOKING CLASSIC ...NAVAJO RESERVATION KLAGETOH (possibly Two Grey Hills) WEAVING. See pic. with dollar bill for size comparison.
The size of this textile is approximately 39" X 36", with a Wool Warp of about 11, and a Wool Weft of about 40!! (A VERY REFIND AND WELL MADE TEXTILE)!!!. EXCELLENT TO MINT CONDITION - A beautifully designed, well constructed piece of Native America! No Holes, No Stains, No Fading-the End Selvage Cords are 100% intact and present, a braid of two, 2-ply beige wool yarns. The Side Selvage Cords are present and 100% intact- a twist of two, 2-ply grey wool yarns. The corners are in excellent condition, and the tassels/end ties are present. See all pics!!!
NOTE THAT THIS WEAVING HAS A VERY REFINED AND TIGHT WEAVE.
