Vintage Art Deco Micarta Tray By Westinghouse Donald Dohner RARE!. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.From a clean, well organized estate in Pennsylvania. Very good gently used condition. Has some minor scuffs due to age, but they are hard to see unless in direct light. Very hard to photograph due to the glare on the shiny surface. Measures approximately 18”x 13 1/2”. Circa 1930’s - 1940’s. Authentic Art Deco at its best. Found carefully wrapped, stored and long... forgotten in the very back of a basement shelf. This design is RARE. Sailboat under a sliver moon. Micarta in the 1930’s, provided an alternative to other phenolic, such as Bakelite. Signer was the director of art for Westinghouse engineering department in 1932. His works are rare and groundbreaking.
