Offered is a nice-sized ( about 8" at widest point at base, 7" at rim, and 5 1/4" tall ) Northern California Pit River Native American Basket. It has a wrapped rim, very slightly raised off base of basket. I relisted this basket to update some issues I didn't notice when listing it the first time. It is still a beautiful piece. A few of the open weft pieces near rim have broken, about 1 1/2". There's also the beginnings of a small crack (not very visible) about 1 inch do...wn from the rim and about 2" away from the rim damage. A bit of rubbing in a few places. The weaver used a wire to add strength to the natural willow? rod. The basket and rim are still very solid. Please see pictures.General Information about our business, shipping, holding items, etc.: * A note: We're all healthy here and are isolated and washing hands regularly. If you're worried just leave your packages in a garage or porch area for a few days before opening. Thanks and be well. * Most of the items we sell come from our personal collection gathered over the years from our travels, from Native powwows and craft stores, antique shops, auctions and estate sales. Now that our kids are in college and beyond, we are letting some items go so others can enjoy them. *We will gladly combine orders to save you on shipping charges. Please email for a combined invoice before paying. Sometimes a few first class items jump to priority pricing ($7.25 and up) because weight puts a package over the 16 ounce limit. Sorry, I can't combine collectibles and book/Magazine purchases. *If you want me to hold items for the next week's auction, please contact me and wait to pay until the last auction ends. Then I'll send you a combined invoice. If you pay right away, I will NOT be able to hold your items due to Ebay's ship within 1-day after payment rule. Please tell me if you are waiting for next week's auction. If you don't communicate and don't pay, you will get an automated non-paying bidder notice from Ebay after 4 days. Thank you!*International Buyers: Sorry. No international shipping on this one.*I pack carefully and try to reuse materials to save on environmental impact. I often double-box items with smaller gift boxes collected from various thrift stores. Though I don't like styrofoam peanuts for environmental reasons, I have found they are the best at protecting fragile items against damage during shipping. I reuse all that I receive and hope you will make use of the ones that come in your packages. Thank you. * Please contact us before leaving negative feedback if something isn't right with your item. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase
