Vintage collectable, clear pressed art glass, Scottie Terrier dog creamer figurine. It is also wonderful for desk top item such as paperclips, staple extractors, etc. Endless utilitarian possibilities.
Manufactured in the late 1930's early 1940's, making this collectible 70 to 80 years old. Offered as "Give-A-Ways" in Post cereal boxes.
Base measures 3 1/8". Overall length is 5 1/2". Approx. 3" high and 1 7/8" wide.This Scottie has minor manufacture flaws such as extr...aneous streaks, crackling or crazing that are consistent with the manufacturing process. The seams on this pup are not all smooth. These manufacturing discrepancies are common with this molding manufacturing process.
