Original Description:
This very beautiful hand made quilt is in wonderful condition even for it's age.Every stitch has been hand made. It is made of bright colorful materials. It could be flour sacks not sure.It has cotton lining inside, the backing is strong linen. Came from an Estate in middle Alabama.I am not sure what the pattern is, it looks like patterns were combined. It has been laundered so it is clean all through.The edging on the backside has some age staining, the backside also has some tin...y mildew spotsand there is a fading circle water spot. See photos for these age issues.It measures 73 by 74 inches. When I folded it on one end it was not perfectly squared see last photo.
This is a very beautiful hand stitched throughout, southern vintage quilt.Comes from a clean smoke free home.
