VINTAGE MATCH-O-LITE DOUBLE MANTLE GAS LAMP
Made by WINNIPEG POWERLIGHT CO.
WINNIPEG, MANITOBA, CANADA This used Match-o-Lite d...ouble mantle gas Lamp
was made by the Powerlight Co., Winnipeg, Canada.
Lamp is used and original.
Unknown date of manufacture but circa 1916 to 1920.
Nice clean burner assembly appears to be complete.
Fitted with a Coleman Q77 generator.
Nice fuel tube and handle.The fount is a Nagel-Chase circa 1912-1920
with a riveted fount base plate.
Nagel Chase fount and the handle
have been repainted to original.
There is a 3/4" surface crack at the base of the handle.
Fount has about four or five small shallow dings from use.
Some are not very noticeable.
Fount was tested about 10 years ago and had no leaks.
Would advise that it be tested again before lighting.
The filler cap has a new seal and the check valve is free.
Inside of fount is in excellent condition and is dry.
Lamp has been taken apart and cleaned.
Fount and handle were repainted.
Lamp was not tested or fired up after it was cleaned.
