This is a dug Civil War spike candle holder. It was dugfrom a Union campsite at Brandy Station Virginia on private propertywith permission. It is in great dug condition. Seldom found this nice.Slightly cleaned of surface rust. These were sold by sutlers for usein Civil War campsites. They could be stuck into a tree, post oreven into the ground.
