This kokeshi dates back to the 1960’s and was created by artist Miyashita Hajime. The pair depicts mother and child in traditional kimono. The hair is painted in thin black strands, and the kimono decoration is carved in and painted over. This doll has a patina and some general wear, but still very beautiful. As you can see from the photos, she is in good condition. Dimensions: 7” tall x 3” wide
