Here is a collection of 3 ballots from the Presidential Election from 1864. Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson ballot from Vinton County, Ohio, George B. McClellan and George H. Pendleton ballot from Williams County, Ohio but marked out and changed to Darke County, Ohio and a Confederate ballot for Jefferson Davis and Alexander H. Stephens for presidency and vice-presidency of the Confederate states. The Davis/Stephens ballot had a name hand written on the back of it but I cannot make ...it out.
Historically, McClellan had been replaced as the commanding general of the Union Forces and, in retaliation, decided to run against Lincoln for the presidency in 1864. These are in as shown condition and an excellent collection from a tragic time in our national history.
