Offered is a beautiful vintage Chinese blue and white lidded ginger jar with a hand painted prunus blossom design. The base is marked with a double blue ring. The vase is approx. 6 3/4" in height and approx. 5 1/2" in diameter.
The jar is in very good condition with no breaks, chips, hairlines, surface scratches or repairs. There is a small speck on the side of the lid where the underlying unglazed clay shows through. However, this did not result from damage and was t...he way the piece came out of firing in the kiln.
