Original Description:
This is an original British WWI Pattern 1908 P08 khaki cotton web bayonet frog or belt hanger, for the scabbard of a bayonet for the SMLE .303 Enfield rifle. The frog is khaki, with brass rivets.  On the back at one time was inked a unit marking, this appears to be 101 but is faded and not easy to see. The frog shows some wear, soiling.  Inside the belt loop one can see what is apparently the original color, a sort of pea green, but I suppose this could also be from a previou...s green blanco treatment. Current color is a soiled khaki. Overall it is in good to very good condition, with some wear and soiling, but still sound and serviceable. ********* I can ship worldwide.
