2 BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE CHINESE HAND CARVED WOOD PANELS FROM CHINAThis auction is for a 2 lot of wood carvings.These beautiful wood relief carved panels from China depict a battle scene and a scholars items scene. The battle panel is finely rendered with detailed horses and soldiers in midst of battle. The second panel depicts items you would find on a scholars desk, with a magnificent flying bat on the top. with many scales seen. These marvelous panels would have ...been part of larger screen, or possibly a piece of furniture like a bed.These carvings are very finely done with high detail They date from late 19th C. - Early 20th C. The panels have some scratches and rubbing. For it's age and being an open work it is in good condition .
