..with a thick service file which shows Jack MacAdam was born in Mount Lylle, Tasmania, Australia, Occupation was a Fitter for The Chamber of Mines, res. Durban, ...Natal. Served in German West Africa and East Africa (caught Malaria) as well as France, the 4th S.A.I. took part in the extremely costly battle of Delville Wood. Jack rec'd. additional pay as a Signaller from May 1918, and was sunsequently discharged in England.
Medals are generally good very fine condition and mounted as worn.
