Wood Carving, Centeotl, Aztec goddess of Maize, by Jose Pinal . Condition is Used. The plinth measures a little over 2". The whole piece measures about 13" tall. it's been hard to get the color of this wood right. It's not so orange as it looks in some pics.This piece is a lovely example of folk art by Mexican artist, Jose Pinal. He was known as the Mexican Picasso.
