Beautiful piece of trench art from World War1.  

Hand etched on the front of the shell with curled over edges on the top. 

Marked on the bottom Polte Magdeburg MAI 1916 SP252

Good overall condition. 

Measures approx 8 1/4" tall.  Bottom measure 2 3/4" in diameter.  Top measures 2 1/2" in diameter. 

Weighs 662 grams. 

Good overall condition.  Some minor wear spots as noted in the pictures.  <...br>
