Vintage pair of  Mexican hand made paper mache folk art couple figures from Tonala, Jalisco. Some list as Xalisco. Estimate 1970s. Extremely detailed features. The woman is carrying a basket and stands apprx 12 inches tall. The man is carrying what appears to be a grass mat. Including the grass mat, he stands about 14 inches tall. The pair stand on wood bases. Similar to Ser-mel. Overall great condition. The man has a piece of his shirt missing on the back. Please see pictures for... details.
