Vintage Lionel Oil Derrick and Pumper No. 2305 advertising Getty Oil Products, made as an electric train set accessory.
It's cast in metal with plastic on the red pump arm and orange generator on the base. Both sides of the metal derrick have a metal sign reading "Getty OIL PRODUCTS". The base has a black metal sign reading "N. 2305 - OIL DERRICK AND PUMPER - MADE IN U.S. OF AMERICA - LIONEL, MT. CLEMONS, MICHIGAN". The underside of the red metal base has the wiring, which I assume ...works.
It stands just over 14" tall on a 10" by 6" base, and weighs 1.5 lbs.
It's in great condition with no cracks, breaks or finish loss, and its original paint intact. Get it with your winning bid.
