WWII Zeiss Zielvier Scope # 15462 has a 26.5mm steel tube. The Reticle is German #1; it is theWW2 Wehrmacht Reticle. See pictures. Length 27cm / 10 1/2", diameter ocular 38 mm, front lens outside 35mm / ocular 31mm. The Scope is good condition & all components work great as it should. Sharp optics, works great at any distance. Top WW2 German Sniper Scope for Mauser K98. ORIGINAL Not Repro! Most blueing is gone but only to leave a nice patina with hardly an...y pitting (see photos). All functions work: elevation, focusing and elevation tightening knob. Being about 75 years old, scope has the usual small scratches and at least two small sand sized dents around occular lens, hardly noticeable (see photos). One of the 4 small turret screws is missing and are replaceable. (I have seen these on Ebay listings.) Optics are clear with no distortion, mold, hair or fogging. The reticle is sharp, even and clear. I believe this scope to be about 1944. Couple of my photos with the scope on my 22 is to show what rifle it's been on for the last few decades.
