This is just a wonderful, lovely sterling silver butterfly pin - from Denmark, by Volmer Bahner, signed "VB." It is decorated with a light Green, guilloche enamel on the wings. There are feather shapes in the enamel that seem to lift off the surface of the piece. The wings catch the light and seem to glow. The butterfly has the older style Sterling body, a bit of Modernism. This beauty measures 1 5/8" by 1." There is a safety catch. It dates from between 1950 and 1960's. It... is in excellent original condition.
