Set of two vintage Japanese bobble-head cows. A traditional Akabeko (red cow, ) steeped in lore and considered a good luck item, and a black calf.
Both c 1970, each are two papier mache pieces (head and body) painted with traditional colors and symbols, head-pieces attached via corded string to achieve the bobble-head effect.
No noted damage nor flaws. These are vintage pieces and upon close inspection there is interior dust and some areas of exterior paint fading.&nb...sp; See images.___________________
