Complete walnut stock set for the Enfield No. 4 Mark I. This set consists of the buttstock, forearm, front and rear hand guards. The buttstock is standard length and marked FR although I am unable to find a repair spot. It has almost no dings with nice figure in the wood and is medium brown.The forearm also has almost no dents or dings with nice figure in the wood and is very light colored walnut. The forearm is marked “S” for US made by Savage. The front and rear handguards s...how little if any use and both are dark colored. The rear handguard has a very small piece of wood missing that will be underneath the barrel ring. The wood is solid with no visible cracks or splits. This set was in storage for a long time so I cleaned with mineral spirits and then applied a coat of boiled linseed oil to remove the dust and storage debris. Overall this set is in excellent condition for WWII era.
