Here is a nice old one gallon size stenciled stoneware handled whiskey jug from Atlanta, Georgia. This pottery jug is stenciled under glaze, it pictures a ROSE with LEAFS. And it reads, " R. M. ROSE Co. The Distillers, ATLANTA, Ga. As The Revenue Office. " This jug is a Beige color with Whits and Cobalt Blue strips all under glaze. this item 6 7/8" across the base and it stands 11 3/4" tall. This jug has one 3/4" by 1" chip on the base rim. And some tiny to some nicks / chips on the to...p rim ( see photo's ). Also there is a stress line on the handle from when the jug was made fired in the Kiln. The handle has no impact spot, or repair, it is strong and firm. Other than mentioned this item has no other problems This is a nice old stoneware Southern Whiskey jug with very nice graphics. And as shown in photo's this Southern Gem will surely display VERY HANDSOMELY
