Meiji Taisho pre 1925 type Order of the Golden Kite. Nice Medal with original case. Riboon is VERY CLEAN. The Golden kite is the Iron Cross Japanese equivalent. The 3rd wing feather from the top is longer for this type of Meiji Period kite orders. Case is ...also the old type with just 6 inscriptions on the lid. Old samurai shield type case latch is intact but its mating pin is missing. With pre 1925 type bowtie rosette. Imperial Japans highest award for military bravery. Order of the Golden Kite (Kinshi Kunshou) is certainly one of the most sought-after orders. Case shows signs of age both inside and outside. Paired with silver Pre 1931 Red Cross Medal.
