Provenance: I have owned since 2003 |
A simple tonkotsu sagemono made of paper, woven and pressed somehow to simulate a basket, with a delightful floral design painted on one side. The ojime is a simple piece of hollow wood and the netsuke is a true toggle. Just a piece of wood formed to be easy to tie. Recently valued at 150 Euro. I suspect but cannot prove that this is a prop or souvenir from a living history museum.
