WW1 Era US Army wool blanket. Olive drab color, US at center, outline only, nice, almost cursive like style of lettering, wide dark border stripes at the top & bottom. I have little knowledge of Army blankets so feel free to correct me if I am wrong, TY. I have seen similar blankets online called hospital or medic blankets. Measures 77" x 63" stretched across the hood & windshield of an automobile as seen in pics. Both bands or stripes measure 2 1/2" in width. Estate find, fold...ed in a trunk long time. No foul odors, just s hint of "old", air within the tin lined wood trunk. No stains that I see. I did neglect to show the reverse side in the pics but I can tell you it looks exactly like the front or top side minus the US lettering. No tags that I can find. No real issues, no rears or rips. I did find 3 holes with the largest shown in the pics, a smaller hole nearby & a small hole near the edge. Nice shape for a 100 year old blanket. I did not weigh it, feels to be at least 2 - 3lbs.
