Montblanc4M Safety BCHR FP, 14Ct no. 4 F NibThisauction is for a rare fantastic old safety Simplo Montblanc 4M, in goodcondition, but might require a new cork seal. I am trying to season the cork tosee if it will hold water; but pen is sold as is.Thefountain pen is fitted with its original Montblanc 14ct no. 4 fine point nibwith a heart shaped breather. The fountain pen measures capped 143 mm (5 5/8inches). It is a very rare old Montblanc safety in very good condition. Comeswith a...n after-market snake clip.5 5/8”long capped.Capimprinted with “Montblanc” and Montblanc logo. Stabilized crack in cap lip (seepicture 2).Barrelimprint is very difficult to read. I can make out “Original” but not much morethan that. I think it is a Simplo. There is some oxidation on the barrel consistent with the pen's age.
