For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Mint in the Box 1993 Writer's Series Montblanc Imperial Dragon Fountain Pen Limited Edition 3717/5000. This pen comes with the original inner and out boxes and Montblanc documentation.
This Montblanc Limited Edition Writers Series Edition is known as the Montblanc Imperial Dragon Fountain Pen. This fountain pen is decorated with Sterling Silver Dragon Clip and cap banding. The Dragon has two ruby eyes that glow magically. T...his Imperial Dragon is a limited edition number, "3717/5000".
The cap and barrel are in perfect condition with no cracks, nicks, scratches, or repairs. The cap is always securing tightly to the barrel. The trim is perfect with no scratches or wear - there is some patina from the years of laying in the box. The barrel retains the original "BROAD" gold foil sticker. The fountain pen measures 5 3/4" capped and 6 3/4" posted.
This Montblanc fountain pen uses a piston filling system and I have tested with water and works as it was designed to.
The rhodium-plated 18-karat gold nib pays tribute to the mythical Dragon creature with an engraving of a dragon’s head nib is marked 18K/750. This nib is designated as BROAD and the point measures 1.19mm when using digital calipers.
Comes in the original Montblanc box, outer storage factory box, International Service Certificate, Reply Card, and Limited Edition Booklet. This is a Limited Edition Montblanc with a production number of 3717 out of 5000.
This Montblanc Imperial Dragon Fountain Pen is a very unique and elegant writing instrument crafted in Germany. All metal components are .925 sterling silver.
