I think this is part of an Army Air Forces navigation kit for aircrew who were ferrying aircraft to the European theater of operation during 1944. The booklet is titled Part II Check Points and Typical Terrain and consists of 70 photo copies of the different airports that the pilots would be landing at during the flight. This booklet starts in the U.S. A. with Presque Isle, Maine which was one of the final stops for aircraft before they went across the pon...d. There are also airports for the crews if they were taking the southern route over thru Africa. Most of the photo copies are dated 1943/44. It is in excellent condition.
