One of the more expensive Gift Sets now if you are lucky enough to have an original box. The three cars average around £120 each in good condition but in the box you need to pay around £1500 at least. That makes the cardboard box and insert worth over £1100!
Here is a chance to have three good cars but at a more modest price. The box is a reproduction but it's good, solid and better than most other reproduction boxes I've seen.
The Citroen is excellent, almost unma...rked, just very minor chips to the bonnet and a wing and with original transfers and an aerial. Most have lost the aerial and there seem to be no suitable replacements.
The Rover is also excellent. It has original transfers and there's no crack in the rear screen where the Trans-o-lite system joins. It has two or three barely noticeable chips to the otherwise lovely paintwork and the screens are clean and clear. The roof is unmarked with just one possible touch-in. The bumpers are also mostly clear of chips with bright silver finish.
The Mini has original transfers and excellent paintwork and it is all original and hasn't been touched up as many have been. The windows are good and the sump guard is original and in place.
All in all this is a really nice set of the three models, rare in such nice condition, and which will look great on display.
