Marantz Model 10B Vintage Tube Tuner - And

Here's a special piece of audio equipment. This Marantz 10B is in great condition and was owned by Edgar Villchur, the inventor of the acoustic suspension speaker. It came from his estate in New York. When I received it, I removed all of the tubes, cleaned the tube sockets, cleaned the rest of the unit, tested the tubes, replaced the bad ones, cleaned all the controls, and slowly powered it up with a Variac. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the entire unit operates as intended. I...t sounds amazing and the scope works great. I've been enjoying having this in the shop more than most pieces. For those of you who don't know, this tuner has a feature where you can hook up an external source to the scope. Very fun.
Because of this unit's age and delicate nature, I am selling this as-is and as-shown. That said, this tuner is built like it was meant for the military.
It will be double boxed for shipment with all of its tubes removed and boxed separately. I have been shipping rare and expensive audio for over 20 years so please rest assured this will arrive safely. I ship domestically using UPS and internationally using eBay's Global Shipping program.
