Up for auction is this group of 8 WWII Occupied Germany Film Negatives, negatives are not marked with film maker and we think film was developed in Germany (we have the paper envelope they came in which is all in German), type of film or camera used is unknown (but wider than 35mm we have seen before and has no holes along edge), negatives are not identified and not dated but we think from circa 1945-1946 but not sure, name of soldier who took pictures was Eyer and was from Alliance, O...hio area, AUCTION IS FOR NEGATIVES ONLY, negatives show views of various Bombed Buildings/towns, what looks like a V-1 Rocket Launcher (but not sure), what looks like a Unit Headquarters, GI, and others, from unknown locations we think in occupied Germany or Europe, NOTE: Lines on negative are from Back Light and not on negatives, we inverted the negatives, a few photos we took may be blurry or light because we do not have the proper equipment needed but are doing the best we can, negatives are not blurry, film strip size appx. 1 3/4" wide. Condition: Negatives show light edge and corner wear, light soiling (we did not try to clean negative), no tears, AUCTION IS FOR NEGATIVES ONLY, Overall: Negatives are near VG to VG.
