Up for bids are these (2) Vintage Mid 20thC Modern Carved Teak Duck Desk Pen Holders. I’ve had these two little guys sitting on a shelf for that last few months waiting to be listed because I thought I’d be able to identify the designer but never could. The way the faces are carved they are clearly intentionally carved to resemble the small functional sculptures by Hans Bolling but like I said I could never nail down a solid attribution. Either way these are carved from teal and we...’re made right around the 1960s. They are in great condition with no breaks or repairs. There is some light wear to the finish and some very light scratches. I did not oil or polish them so they’d probably clean up even better. Each measures 6 1/4” in length, 3” in width, and stand 4” in height. These (2) Vintage Mid 20thC Modern Carved Teak Duck Desk Pen Holders will make a great addition to your collection.
