The gymnastyorka was a Russian military shirt-tunic in a pullover style with a standing collar having button closure extending part-way down the front. It was originally introduced into the Imperial Russian Army about 1870 for the regiments stationed in Turkestan. Enlisted soldiers in the Korean Army continue to wear the gymnastyorka as part of their field uniform.
