MIG SU/MIG Jets 1980sIt is Soviet/Russian military aviation Cockpit Panel Clock ACHS-1.
The clock was made in USSR in 1980s on the military
Chelyabinsk watch factory "Lightning", Russia.
Clocks for the fastest and highest-flying Soviet/Russian combat aircrafts such as:
MiG-23, MiG-25, MiG-29, Su-27 and
strategic bombers, helicopters and transport aircraft,
also used in Soviet space programs.
...Original Russian Air Force issue.
Clock comes with original mounting bracket.
The original multifunction wind up 2-day chronometer, 26 jewels,
inside an all-steel, dustproof and waterproof case.
This clock still has all their original factory parts intact.
Serial #75787.
Lower face counts seconds and minutes,
central face counts minutes and hours,
also there's a central second hand.
Central face works as a usual clock.
Chronometer is very exact,
Works properly and it is in BEST condition.
Aviation watches are intended for:
the current time in hours, minutes and seconds
countdown of the flight time of the aircraft in hours, minutes and seconds.
The duration of the work after the spring has been fully loaded is not less than 2 days.
The accuracy of the clock ± 20 s/day.
Clock has anti-shock mechanism, real metallic case.
Dome glass is a mineral crystal.
The Dial is a matte Black enamel with large Luminescent numerals on the hour,
surrounded by Luminescent minute/second lines,
with the Chrono sub-dial at 60 minutes
and the Flight time dial at 12 hours.
The Time and Flight Time hands are Green outline with luminescent filling.
The Seconds hand is White.
The Chrono hands are Black with Luminescence,
the minute hand with a spade tip.
The Dial is marked in Russian on both sub-dials,
and is embossed with "2 days", serial number and letter "B".
Pushing the right and left selectors selects different modes of clock.
The winding up and adjusting the time is performed by the left selector of the clock
There's Russian inscription on the right selector: "Start".
This clock is fully mechanical, wind up item.
It does not need any power source to be operated!
These clocks have been designed to withstand speeds of Mach 3/1800 mph (2900 km/h)
and altitudes of up to 100, 000 feet (30 km).
These robust timepieces are built to keep time flawlessly while pulling 6G's!
Built-in 27-volt heater operation even at -60° C (-75° F).
The case has an approx Diameter of 85 mm. (3 3/8 "),
and the clock weighs approx 550g (1 1/4lbs).
