British gaberdine 68 pattern para smock.Sometimes called "77" pattern.Although missing the label it is otherwise in good all round condition.This version para smock 68 pattern was a replacement for the 59 pattern denison and is made from the same cloth as the classic 68 pattern combat smock and worn through N.Ireland and the Falklands campaign.Camouflage print has early extra dot fade edging to pattern as shown, marking it as 1st issue print run.Four large front patch pockets, plu...s original brass snap sleeve dressing pocket and buttoned pen pocket.Para/beaver tail intact along, with internal rear partitioned poachers pocket.YKK zip (QM stores replacement fitted) fastened front and collar/neck, snap fastened pocket flaps.Brass snap fittings.Internal drawstrings for adjusting fit.This item is in good condition throughout.All fastenings checked and working.Measures 25 inches pit to pit.Ribbed cuffs.Last image is a page explaining the 1970s pattern smock.The item you see is the one you will receive.
