Vintage 1960's hand-carved monkey pod wood horse sculpture. This item had a sticker on the bottom that stated it was made by Mabini Handicraft in the Philippines, but it was removed at some point. This handsome sculpture stands approximately 13" in height. The horse sits on a base measuring about 10" in length x 5-1/2" in width. There are some dings and surface scratches in some places from previous handling and storage. His ears were damaged at some point, so please inspect pictures c...arefully. This is a very handsome sculpture and would be great for display on a mantle, shelf or table. He would also make a thoughtful gift for a horse enthusiast.
