This antique liftingtool/railroad tie puller with tongs and a hook is marked March 1, 1870 A.J. Nellis and Co Pittsburg (there was no “h” in the name of the city at thattime) PA. These are cast iron and seem to work. The jaws run smoothly. No cracks or repairs. They are covered with surface rust.Total size: 17” long.
