GRADE-1 USED CONDITION - SIZE 170/96 - MEDIUM
This is a genuine British Army issue 1985 Pattern DPM combat smock, a classic piece of British Army uniform it is synonymous with the British Forces operating during the last years of the Cold War and the decade between 1985-1995 of Operation banner in Northern Ireland.
Smock is made from a hardwearing cloth, it features zip front with button storm baffle, Velcro c...uff adjusters, four large front cargo pockets, internal rear poachers pocket, FFD pocket on right sleeve and pen/admin pocket on left sleeve.
Smock is officially called "SMOCK COMBAT DPM", the NSN is 8415-99-130-5881, manufacturer is given as J. Compton Sons & Webb Ltd. The contract code is SL31b/2925, this puts production at around 1987/1988.
CONDITION: Smock is in Grade-1 used condition, it has been issued and worn and there is general light wear and fade, there are a few muddy marks and it generally so it will benefit from a wash! The zip is in good condition, there are no worn areas, no damage, no stains, nothing missing. ALL photos show the ACTUAL jacket you will receive.
SIZE: Label is missing but this jacket is a size 170/96, so designed for someone up to 5'7" in height with a maximum natural chest of 38", this equates to something like a MEDIUM, but please consult the actual measurements as they come up on the tape, these are not generous like modern MTP smocks and were worn more fitted: 42" chest (21" pit-to-pit), 25" under-arm (always very generous!), 18" across the shoulders, 31" from collar seam to bottom hem of jacket.
ONE ONLY, the price of these jackets is at rock bottom at the moment and they represent a mega bargain, mark my words these will be sought after one day!
