Antique/Vintage Advertising Stoneware Monmouth-Western Rolling Pin Rust Band DOOLEY BROS. - PEORIA, ILAdvertising stoneware rare triple rust banded rolling pin made by Western Stoneware Company located in Monmouth, Illinois for Dooley Bros in Peoria, Illinois. The Dooley Bros coal company was started by J.B. Dooley in 1890 at 604 S.W. Adams Street, Peoria, IL and later moved S.W. Washington Street, Peoria, IL between 1906-1908. 4 Line Advertisement Reads:

In very good condition. Small nicks on one edge are not actual chips but from the making. A sticker from a previous collector was placed underneath the advertisement as a reminder of where this pin was from. Crazing throughout the pin from age to be expected. No cracks. Handles have a nice patina from age with no damage. Any flaws on the stoneware such as glaze/paint skips, glaze pops, stoneware imperfections etc. are all natural from the making. Comes as seen/is/found and as made.Approximate measurements:
